Abstract
The radar array problem of nulling interference sources is complicated by the fact that the target returns can occur over a finite angle extent. The least squares approach with a single look-direction constraint is modified to include multiple constraints within the array mainbeam. This is shown to be effective for practical radar cases, that is, for target signal to noise situations likely to occur in real radar systems.
