Abstract :
Two applications using induced phase transitions of PZT95/5-type ceramics are discussed. They are shock-wave explosive energy conversion and heat-electric energy conversion. The phase transition related properties of PZT95/5 ceramics, such as the high coupling factor, the electrostrictive effect, the ferroelectric field effect, and the pyroelectric effect, were studied. Their potential applications are discussed
