  • Abstract
    Using the geometrical theory of diffraction (GTD), we obtain simple and accurate expressions for the RCS of one and two cylinders. We show that the simple GTD solution compares very well with a moment-method solution and with a more rigorous physical theory of diffraction (PTD) solution. We present the results of our computations for a number of cases.
