Abstract :
Visual data analysis involves using modern computer graphics and display tools to explore data. The use of such visual research methods has become increasingly widespread throughout the social sciences. This paper focuses on customer data in commercial banks, and aims to use visual representations and interaction techniques to provide a new vision of customer relationship management. Two key visualization techniques - parallel coordinates and treemaps - have been used in this process; they show monotonous customer data in a more vivid way and allow more valuable information to be extracted.
