Abstract
In this paper, random coding error exponents for two-dimensional (2-D) time correlated fading channels with space diversity are studied. We consider both cases when the receiver has perfect knowledge of the channel and when a noisy estimate of the channel state information (CSI) is available at the receiver by means of some practical channel estimation method. The focus of the results presented here is on the case for the Bessel function correlation channel (the mobile channel)
