  • Abstract
    We have presented a requirements-driven antenna synthesis system. Automated antenna synthesis and design techniques can overcome these limitations by searching the design space and automatically finding effective solutions that would not ordinarily be found. The unique features of our system include the specsheet interface, embedded efficiency calculator, antenna selection heuristics, and antenna design optimizer. The system has been effectively in a number of applications, including the designs of antennas that have flown on NASA spacecraft.
