Abstract :
Hybrid systems are heterogeneous dynamical systems whose behavior can be defined by interacting continuously and by having discrete changes in their dynamics. A controller for this kind of system must ensure that the closed-loop system meets some requirement, regardless of what the plant does. In this paper a greenhouse plant is used to illustrate the modeling approach, and a new strategy is proposed to design a hybrid controller for this kind of system. The selection of the best controller will also be made in such a way that a stable closed-loop system is obtained. The design strategies are based on stated stability and stability theorems for hybrid systems. The questions related to control techniques are discussed for hybrid systems to show in this way the complexity of controller design of a class of hybrid system.
