Abstract
With the advent of sophisticated new features made possible by the latest generation of switching systems and the intelligent network, it becomes more and more challenging to test these systems end to end, verifying that the system as a whole is meeting the customer´s needs. It is pointed out that a load-testing device best meets this challenge through a flexible, multilevel approach to call scenario control. In solution offered, call scenario setups are available at three integrated levels of control, one of which includes the capability of interaction with an application-specific BASIC program. An example that illustrates the flexible interaction of an application-specific BASIC program presented
