Abstract
We are developing a head free video-based eye-gaze detection system. In the present study, a recently developed ultrasonic head tracking system is used to keep capturing eye image in focus with zoom-focus control and one-mirror rotation systems which we previously developed. The experimental results show that the proposed total system makes it possible to detect the eye´s feature points necessary for determining the eye gaze, even if the head moves back and forth or right and left, relatively fast.
