  • Abstract
    New photonic simple network architectures, named Starring and GIMS (Generalized Interconnection Multihop Starring), are presented. They seem to guarantee the best compromise between simple design and minimal routing strategies and the photonic feasibility of switching circuits. The favourable comparison with other similar structures, makes the new proposed topologies attractive and competitive
