Abstract :
A new type of Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) can work in natural circulation condition or forced circulation condition, and can be operated more safely and also have a fast load response. The paper proposes coordinated control method and operating strategies for the NPP based on aforementioned objectives. In order to study the control strategies, the nuclear power plant simulation model which can simulate the nuclear power plant operating characteristics is established by means of real-time simulation technology. The different transition processes and different control conditions were simulated under the proposed control strategies and control system. The results show that the proposed control strategies and control system can guarantee the safety and rapid load response to nuclear power plant.
