Abstract
In order to reduce stern vibration, pressure fluctuations induced by propellers have to be calculated with sufficient accuracy in the ship design stage. In paper, the pressure fluctuations on twin-screw ship are researched. The effects of twin propellers are simultaneously accounted for the pressure fluctuations. The results by considering simultaneously twin propellers are obvious different from the results by considering only one propeller. It is shown that the effect of another propeller can not be neglected in the prediction of pressure fluctuations on twin-screw ship.
