Abstract
In this paper, bit error rate expressions for downlink multi-user and space-time coded Multicarrier CDMA (MC-CDMA) systems in correlated frequency selective channels are derived. It is shown that there is a good match between the semi-analytical BER performance and the BER simulation results. The impact of the variations of the delay spread of the channel on the performance of the system is discussed and it is shown that the correlation between subcarriers of the system has limited effect on the performance.
