Abstract :
A possibility of a phase velocity of a surface acoustic wave control by a metal screen near a substrate surface is described in this paper. Dependences of a phase velocity on a distance between a screen and a substrate are calculated for some substrates. Approximating expressions for these dependences are determined. An application of this phenomenon for force sensors is shown.
