Abstract :
A dyadic diffraction coefficent zs presented for the scattering in the far zone by a vertex at the interconnection between two or more straight edges, when it is illuminated by an electromagnetic plane wave. The solution is obtained as the superposition of simple interaction mechanisms between two adjacent edges. The solution recover in the pertinent directions the dominant, edge ray field contributions, including second order diffraction mechanisms.
