Abstract :
In this paper the damped oscillating equation is considered with the damping term generalized to a Caputo fractional derivative. The order of the fractional derivative about time is V(0 <; V <; 2) . The series solution is obtained to the corresponding initial-bounded problem. Then we give the conditions under which the series solution is classical.
