Title :
Evolution of magnetic fields in spiral galaxies with the SKA
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
Polarization of unresolved galaxies allows a statistical study of magnetic fields and Faraday depolarization for large samples of galaxies in the local universe, and at high redshift with the SKA. Models for the integrated polarized emission of spiral galaxy disks suggest that star forming galaxies dominate the polarized source counts detectable with the SKA.
