Abstract :
On the condition of the sample data, the paper discusses lower confidence limits of reliability for series with Poisson components. We can make use of the relationship between the cumulative function of the Poisson distribution and the Gamma function, and then give the expressions of reliability in the series system. Based on the sample data, the precise lower confidence limits of reliability for series system is calculated, and then the approximate lower confidence limit of reliability for series system is given. Finally, numerical simulation is carried out to verify the conclusions.
