Abstract :
The paper presents an experience on developing and testing a new advanced uninterruptable power supply. The aim of the work was to develop a new AC/DC converter based on IGBT valves with some basic performance: network power factor equal about to one; and low harmonic impact i.e. with spectrum moved at high frequencies. The final digital implementation on a laboratory prototype is also discussed
