Abstract :
This paper is a preliminary work concerning the speed control of axial field switched reluctance motor (AFSRM). It is applied to a period where the switched voltage to one phase exists. Cascade control is adopted where two PI controllers in cascade are considered. A master controller covers the speed loop and a slave controller covers the current loop
