Abstract
The Ozone Transport Assessment Group (OTAG) has been working to develop an overall approach to the reduction of transported ozone and nitrogen oxides. Although the recommendations are not final there is an emerging consensus on several points. This paper discusses the process which was followed to establish and refine an OTAG-wide control strategy, some of the key elements or assumptions underlying the strategy, and the probable components of the strategy
