            Abstract :
Streaming potential is generated between the both sides of a glass-capillary or a glass-filter filled with an aqueous solution as a hydrostatic pressure is applied. In this paper, an application of the phenomenon to a micro-dimensional pressure sensor (tip diameter: about 1 μm) for biophysiological measurements, is presented. Blood pressure are measured in toad´s mesenteric arteries.
