Abstract :
In this paper a reconfigurable A/D converter is presented. It is shown that starting from the well-known structure of a flash A/D converter, different other converters i.e. propagation type, successive approximation can be obtained. The approach is useful in unifying the various A/D conversion concepts, and has applications in self-repairing A/D converters.
