Abstract :
A new edge detection method based on the wavelet denoising and the mathematic morphology transform is presented in this paper. Firstly, the improved wavelet semisoft threshold method is used to suppress noise of image, where the algorithm of Bayes threshold is adopted to calculate the value of threshold. Secondly, A multi-scale and multi-structural elements morphological edge detection algorithms with entropy weights is presented and compared with two more popular morphological edge detection algorithms from three aspects (run times, SNR, precision). Finally, the comprehensive experiment shows that the improved edge detection based on the morphological transformation can get the more satisfactory results.
