  • Abstract
    The site layout plan on deformation monitoring of SMW method H steel pile using BOTDA is introduced and its application to the strain monitoring of the strain distribution during foundation pit construction process is studied. The measurement results have a greater similarity with the measured data using inclinometer tubes. originlab8, matlab7.0 and other related softwares are used for the data fitting, the calculations of pile bending moment, deflection and temperature compensation, and the information is feedbacked timely to guide construction. It concluded that, as an advanced distributed optical fiber sensing technology, BOTDA is accurate and feasible to be used in the field of construction monitoring of SMW.
