Abstract :
This paper introduces the Multibeam Synthetic Aperture Sonar line-by-line imaging algorithm which based on the traditional Multibeam sonar cross array structure. The Multibeam Synthetic Aperture Sonar is a combination of traditional Mulitbeam sonar and traditional Synthetic Aperture Sonar. It can have the better track direction resolution and get simpler than the traditional Synthetic Aperture Sonar. Comparing with the new InSAS it can detect the bathymetric information of the carrying ship underside. In this paper, the Multibeam Synthetic Aperture Sonar line-by-line imaging algorithm is proposed and studied, and get verified by the pool experiment.
