Abstract :
Based on practical project and aim at overcoming the defects of the traditional cement mixing pile method on treating deep soft ground, composite foundation with capped piles was first introduced in an industry workshop. The design method of composite foundation with capped piles was present in this paper. Equal settlement surface appears owing to the soil-arching effect in the composite foundation. And load can be passed into the deeper layer by rigid piles. Thus, the total settlement and difference settlement can be controlled.
