Abstract :
Some useful postprocessing formulas are derived for the FEM computation of electrical parameters such as the resistance and inductance matrices of an arbitrary system of axisymmetric-shaped conductors, taking into account skin and proximity effects. In order to cope with the boundlessness of the domain an iterative FEM procedure, called current iteration, has been successfully used. An example of its application to a typical axisymmetric boundless multiconductor configuration is given
