Abstract :
In this paper, the numerical simulation of silo wall pressure response under the earthquake loads is carried out. The initial static pressure values both on the bottom wall and the sidewall of the models according to the angle, but the dynamic response under the earthquake loads did not differ significantly. The pressures with different wall dips under dynamic loading increase substantially the same value, and this increase in value comparing to the initial static pressure is not obvious. Granular surface collapse during the loading period, in addition, a slip surface is generated in the granular internally.
