  • Abstract
Since Taiwan´s science park development in 1980, it has not only successfully boosted Taiwan´s industrial cohesion and upgraded traditional industries simultaneously but also promoted local development around the park. It speeds up population concentration, environmental planning and land utilizing development, thereby affecting the development model of the city. However, the population growth the demand for land brought about by rapid urbanization cannot be expected. SP DRAM model was refined in this paper through DRAM / EMPAL distribution model prototype and added a new variable model based on the development characteristics of Taichung area to conduct the population growth of Taichung for transforming a variety factor of Taichung Science Park and urban development into all useful information available for decision makers. Due to the complicated formula operation, there is large amount of data required. This study further develop the software supporting systems to enable both the database and software be apply on calculating urban planning and development assessment to promote the presentation of urban planning through concretized number information.
