Abstract :
With the advanced Pressure Plate Extractor which made of Soil moisture Equipment Corporation. The experiments of soil-water characteristics curves are made under different density for sliding zone soils of Qian Jiangping landside, The varied consistent functions have been established from the experiment data of soil-water characteristics curves. The physical meanings of parameters in the consistent functions have been deduced and the effect resulted by variation of soil density have been analyzed. The studies show that the variation of soil density has close relationship with soil-water characteristic curve. Finally, a comprehensive function expression which can reflect the relation among soil density, suction and water content, is established. The test and calculated data verify the reliability of the formula.
