Abstract
A. mathematical model of the polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cell and the compressor is used to study the system performance with different operation variables. The case of pure hydrogen on the anode side and air at the cathode side is analyzed. The model is used to compute the system performance with different operating pressures. The differences in the performance at partial loads are investigated.
