            Abstract :
The authors demonstrate the ease of modeling pulse forming lines (PFLs) in typical power modulator systems using `off-the-shelf´ circuit analysis software (i.e., MicroCAP). They start with a simple PFL circuit to obtain an output; then they extend this technique to complex PFL circuits such as cumulative wave lines and Darlington networks. This simple technique will allow the researcher to investigate transmission line circuits for a wide range of applications (such as frozen wave generators). With this technique, it is possible to obtain presentation quality graphics without the difficulty of having to write one´s own computer code for simulation and output driver for quality graphics
