Abstract
This paper discusses the major challenges that the research community is facing when designing circuits for low-power wireless receiver systems targeting healthcare applications. Possible solutions are offered to some of these challenges. Particular attention is given to in-vivo applications such as ingestible endoscopy capsules and medical implants.
