Abstract :
In this paper, window function method was expatiated on how to design digital filters. Band-pass filter was designed by using MATALB which possesses superior characteristics of devising filters in a fast and effective way when using window functions originated in it, and the filter was applied to a mixed sine wave signal. Simulation model was established by using MATLAB and the waveforms from oscilloscopes were observed in order to verify the performance.
