Abstract :
Although image fusion based on hybrid methods such as ATW-PCA, attempt to enhance spatial details and preserves spectral information at the highest level simultaneously, but there are a few problems in the fused image generated by these methods, such low-injection spatial information and oversharpening that distorts the fused image. In this paper, we present an improved version of PC-ATW. In the proposed method, we introduce a new block called `Weighting Block´ which it controls fusion process. Preliminary results achieve better fusion performance comparing conventional ATW-PCA and other image fusion methods including IHS and DWT methods.
