Abstract :
According to the monitoring system widely adopted now which has much weakness, such as transmission distance limited, low speed of acquisition and processing, and poor stability, this paper puts forward a design scheme about image acquisition and real-time network monitoring system. First of all, the system integrates the image acquisition, storage, compression and transmission and other hardware circuits into a piece of FPGA chip by SOPC technology. Second, embedded operating system MicroC/OS-II is as software platform of the system, then the sysytem adopts the standard socket interface, and through LWIP protocol stack transports image data. Characters of this system is: first, optimizing the 2D-DCT transform, and realizing it by C language based on Nios II processor in the uC/OS-II, not only compression image but also improveing the image compression rate. second, transmission image data by ethernet, so it conveniently realizes the remote communication.
