Abstract
Advances in bio-medical technologies have led to a great attraction in the design of bio-sensor array for rapid, qualitative and quantitative detection. In this paper we present the CMOS implementation of a high throughput bio-sensor array that consists of 96 × 96 electrodes. Each individual electrode is addressable in the system. The sensor array adopted the impedance sensing detection method. It is a single cell-based biosensor, which is targeted to achieve both detection and identification of cell type.
