Abstract :
An on-chip RF energy harvesting circuit is integrated into an image sensor. The RF energy harvesting circuit is designed to function at 900 MHz. A DC voltage of 1.8V is achievable from the energy harvesting circuit output with -3 dBm input RF power. By charging up a 2.2 mF capacitor to 1.867 V, it has been demonstrated that the low-power image sensor functions well with the ability to obtain more than 1 frame of the image.
