Abstract :
There are many factors influencing the ground settlement over mined-out area. In order to study the effect of width of coal pillar and spacing of mined-out area on ground settlement, the Druker-Prager model is chosen, which is suitable to simulate the materials of rock and soil. It is calculated by use of the advanced FEM software of Analysis. The results show the influence law of dimention of coal pillar and spacing of mined out area.
