Abstract
The spatial distribution characteristics of the impinging jet into the atmosphere were studied by using of the PDA system, and the water was used as the working medium. The test results show that, under the injection pressure drop of 0.8~2.6MPa, the droplets´ Sauter Mean Diameter D32 increases along the axial direction, and the droplets´ D32 increases first along with the radial direction and then reduces. The droplets´ axial velocity vz decreases both along the axial and radial direction. The spray parameters as diameter and velocity are affected by the injection pressure drop. But the effects are weakened with the increasing of the pressure.
