Abstract :
In this paper, the numerical experiments are performed to determine the shear capacity of RC beams strengthened by external steel plate. The numerical parameters include plate dimension, plate curtailment, and thickness of glue. According to numerical results, the shear capacity equation of plated RC beam was modified by regress of experimental data, and compared with result of finite element predicting.
