Abstract
The paper investigated the soil organic C (SOC), total N (TN), pH value (pH) and soil bulk density (SBD) in the bottom and the middle of slope during different desertification stages at Maqu alpine meadow. The results showed that the content of SOC, TN and C/N declined with the development of desertification, SOC declined distinctly than TN; SBD and pH increased with the development of desertification.
