Abstract :
In this paper, we present a method for localizing the global position of the heart from Cine MRI images. This method is fast, and fully automatic. It depends on the standard deviation from the stack of images that we work on, and the position of the heart will have the greatest motion standard deviation because the heart is almost the only organ moves in the images. We test this method on 14 patients, and we get 100% accuracy of localizing the heart.
