Abstract :
Network Connectivity is the key indicator of evaluating network survivability and resilience. To optimize the network connectivity, this paper presented a wireless-based connectivity optimization technique. The basic principle of this technique is: Using the flexibility of wireless link establishment, construct the backup scheme through the real-time detection and measurement and try best to guarantee the network connectivity. The experiment results showed that the proposed method can still guarantee the basic network connectivity when the average link damage is about 70%. Compared with the existing wired link backup scheme, the proposed method can improve the network resilience about 7% to 9% in the same network context.
