Abstract :
In MIMO communication systems, the channel correlation has influence on the pairwise error probability of space-time coding, and the channel correlation matrix can be modeled as the Kronecker product of the temporal correlation matrix and the spatial correlation matrix. The Euclidean distance between two space-time codeword can be written as the combination of independent chi-square random variables, and the probability density function of the Euclidean distance is calculated by Laplace transform, thus the closed-form expression for the pairwise error probability is derived. Simulation results verify the validity of our method.
