Abstract :
Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanowire became to be focused as one of a promising key element for nano-mechanical devices. In this paper, we report ZnO nanowire growth and its substrate dependence under solid-vapor process and also stainless steel film works as an effective catalyst for growing ZnO nanowires at relatively low temperature, and the initial nucleation seems to be a key to get higher growth yield.
