Abstract :
Computer-aided design and analysis of complex control systems requires careful attention to the development and organization of high quality software. At present there does not exist a convenient, user-oriented, unified control analysis or design package capable of handling today´s complex systems. Such systems range from simple single-input, single-output servomechanisms (such as instrument suspension, flotation, gimbal servo loops,) to multi-input, multi-output large scale systems (such as Space Shuttle, Minuteman, Trident, satellite systems, large space structures).
