Abstract :
The modal amplitudes generated by recursive least square lattice filters are coupled. For the adaptive scheme being developed the modal amplitudes are required to be decoupled. A scheme for transforming the coupled modes into decoupled ones is presented herein and is tested in simulation studies on a free-free beam.
