Abstract :
About a three-fold increase in the number of students in higher education institutions over the last twenty years has brought a number of problems, which remained unnoticed and therefore unresolved. This paper presents a hypothesis of decrease of average students´ intellectual level and correlates it to the decrease of students´ self-motivation to study. We present an approach applied in the Operating Systems Course using some IT tools, which allows us to solve some formulated problems.
